Two weeks later, VAHPA members met to get the benefits of the […] The decision to withdraw from the multi-company agreement is not permanent; There is room for Sunbury Community Health to join the Multi-EA in the next round of negotiations, being incredibly disappointing for all Sunbury employees. However, by this decision, Sunbury`s management has effectively relieved us of the various legal constraints that apply to multi-company agreements. This means that we are now in a position to strengthen the fight and ensure that AAPA members in Sunbury get the result they deserve. Community health professionals will be the lowest paid health professionals in Australia if their offer of agreement is underway this week. The opportunity to fight for better pay and conditions can only come if the health of the community […] Most of them are related to the current legislation, which stipulates that workers who have entered into mutant-employer agreements are not able to take anti-work measures, and in the long and laborious process that we have had to follow to avoid this. This means that employers and their representatives feel no pressure to negotiate effectively, because there is virtually nothing that workers can do if they do not. A mass meeting of delegates this week means that VHPA`s 2014 Community Health campaign will begin with a bang. Community health delegates have been contacted in recent days to invite them to a mass meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. […] In addition, a 12-year lump sum payment was made for the period prior to July 12, 2018. Improvements to the classification structure will also come into effect on July 12, 2018. The agreement will also provide member States of the European Health Community with equal pay with their public sector counterparts.
The agreement includes increases at the head of classes 1, 2 and 3 and includes the following salary increases: as we say at the end of each round of negotiations, it is up to you to do so: what you get out of this agreement. Their salary increases and all associated allowances will be automatic, but everything else depends on the fact that VAHPA members work together to get the best results – with vigilance, compliance. We are pleased to inform you that the vote on the multi-employer-allied health trades agreement has been successful. This result is the culmination of two years of hard work for community health sector members and delegates, as well as VAHPA staff and officials.
